The Family Business Network is the world's leading network of business owning families, promoting the success and sustainability of family business: “ by families, for families”. Our family business on-line membership directory includes over 2800 contacts of businesses owned families settled in more than 45 countries.

Companies that are part of FBN are from many different segments and sizes, national and multinational companies which have already gone to other generations and seek the sustainability of business.

The FBN and its associated companies share common goals and mutual support to:

- Development of Future Generations
- Opportunities for experience’s exchange between families
- Dissemination of best practices and knowledge

FBN Next Generation

It is a fact that some 95% of family businesses do not survive the third generation of ownership, and often for a lack of preparation of the subsequent generations. Young members of family businesses face special challenges in order to find their roles within the family and within the business. In recognition of these unique challenges, we offer a Next Generation program tailored to meet their needs.

The NG Committee wishes to facilitate the link between international Next Generation members, giving them, in confidence, the opportunity to:

share their family business concerns and experiences

learn from and with peers

helping the to find their future roles as family business members

Who we are

We are an international group of Next Generation people, all in different phases of involvement in our family businesses. Our group is dedicated to organizing networking events and creating tools for the Next Generation community.

Our mission:

We work on behalf of all FBN’s next generation members by identifying, prioritizing and developing initiatives to projects that will add value for next generation members of FBN and help the association achieve its objectives.

Our goal is to produce value for the next generation members of FBN International and all the chapters spread around the world. In short the NG Committee is headed by next generation for next generation just as the FBN International is headed by families, for families.
